Who You Are:
We are looking for experienced and highly-qualified Sr. Failure Analysis Engineer for performing FA in support of product manufacturing, NPI and customer request.
Micron is seeking a highly-qualified Sr. Engineer to take responsibility for Failure Analysis (FA) in support of manufacturing, development and customer needs.
In this role, you will provide hands-on FA support, oversee tool maintenance and calibration activities on lab equipment as well as FA projects involvement.
What You Will Do:
Performing FAFI on Micron products while partnering with manufacturing/ development team for establishing the hypothesis and root cause identification.
Analyze failure reports and provide corrective actions
Develop new FA methods, BKMs, procedures, processes and tool that will help improve FA process
Coaching and assist technician in verification of FAFI as well as upskill theirs troubleshooting knowledge
Responsible for lab equipment upkeep and performance
Others duties that assigned from time to time
What You Will Bring (REQUIRED Qualifications):
Bachelor’s degree or Master’s or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years working experience in FA field or relevant analytical lab.
Experience with FAFI tools/techniques: Parallel lapping and cross sectioning, curve tracing and micro probing, optical microscopes, PEM, chemical de-capsulation, SEM, EDS and FIB cross section.
