Senior Secretary/Clerk I (holding the functional title of Senior Executive Assistant) (2 posts) in the LKS Faculty of Medicine (Ref.: 504052) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two- to three-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should have 5 passes in HKCEE including English (min. Grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007), Chinese (Level 2 from 2007) and Mathematics; OR min. Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSEE including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics, with at least 10 years’ full-time work experience in tertiary institutions.  They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; strong communications, organizational and problem-solving skills; an appropriate level of IT competence; and a strong sense of responsibility.  They are also expected to have the ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently to meet strict deadlines with minimal supervision; and a good sense of tact in dealing with sensitive and confidential issues, including discreet handling of personnel and confidential files.   Those with less experience or qualifications may be appointed as Clerk I.   The appointees will provide administrative and organizational support to senior administrators of the Faculty Office in various areas including financial and human resources management, campus development, project management and general office administration; and perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned.  Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
