The Ops Sup Analyst 1 is an entry-level position responsible for providing operations support services, including but not limited to; record/documentation maintenance, storage & retrieval of records, account maintenance, imaging and the opening of accounts in coordination with the Operations - Core Team. Additionally, the Ops Sup Analyst 1 serves as the liaison between operations staff, relationship managers, project managers, custodians and clients. The overall objective of this role is to provide day-to-day operations support in alignment with Citi operations support infrastructure and processes.
Responsibilities:
  • Daily position reconciliation between Bank holdings and holdings with Custodian for Equities
  • Daily accounts balancing/ reconciliation between Bank and counterparties for Mutual Funds/ Bonds/Equities
  • Daily price maintenance (Day 2) checks for Equities
  • Monthly position reconciliation between Bank and counterparty for Mutual Funds/Bonds/Equities
  • Monthly/Quarterly sample testing of Investment Operations processing as part of Control checks, capture testing results in Risks Controls system.
  • Periodic update of authorized signatories for Operations team and providing to internal/external parties as required
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders including Product management, regional and country operations teams
  • Liaise with external Fund Houses to document and update operations process manuals/memorandum
  • Perform process reviews and provide recommendations for improvement and automation, participate in enhancement projects.
  • Assist with Continuity of Business plans, document and updates
  • Assist with Records Management control related functions
  • Assist with other control related activities as assigned
  • Ensuring quality processing and adherence to Citi Policies and Controls
  • Meet the Business expectation on operational matters and facilitate a high degree of customer satisfaction
  • Req Qualifications:
    Ability to work in diverse environments and cultures
    Minimum 1 to 2 year's work experience preferably in operations, reconciliations or control related functions
    Knowledge of investment products especially around Equities, Mutual Funds and Fixed Income Securities
    Responsible, organized and ability to work under pressure and multi-task in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines
    Provide high quality service to internal customers
    Strong communications skills both written and spoken
    Good Team Player
