Wood is currently looking for a Construction Engineer – Completions & Turnover for the Duqm Refinery Project

The Construction Engineer shall have past experience with utilization of Completion databases used to manage system based construction and commissioning activities on oil and gas projects.

Job Responsibilities include but not limited to

  • coordinate exchange of records with EPC Contractor
  • extract current data on the completion status of systems, units or areas
  • troubleshoot inconsistency in completed works records and database entries
  • coordinate completion of System Dossiers
  • Participating in regular on-site EPC Contractor progress meetings, at interface coordination meetings and attend other project meetings as required
  • Execute assigned personal objectives with limited direct guidance and supervision
  • Six (6) years’ experience in field during the implementation of large refinery/gas projects.
  • A Degree or Diploma in discipline relevant engineering
  • Must be knowledgeable about construction techniques to be employed, materials used and testing requirements to be applied for discipline specific works.
  • Shall have handled such works at site preferably in the Middle East either in PMC or contractors’ organization.
  • Shall have the ability to spot nonconformances to project requirements and alert others to correct them.
  • Shall have knowledge of non-process and process systems across all work disciplines
