About the role

Seeking Registered nurses for a part-time position for Calvary’s Flexible Aged Care Facility on Bathurst (Tiwi) Islands providing care to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Residents. You will need to have:

• AHPRA nursing registration  
• 3 years working experience in community nursing or residential aged care nursing or a desire to move into this field of nursing
• Demonstrated experience to work autonomously and experience in delivering residential nursing care

 Valid Working with Children Check (NT OCHRE Card) Required

This is a part-time position with flying out of Darwin at midday on Friday and flying out of Bathurst Island at midday on Monday. Flights, accommodation & meals are provided.

What you bring  

  • AHPRA nursing registration - Registered Nurse
  • Understanding of the community nursing sector- Home Care Packages, Department of Veteran Affairs Community Nursing Program, and Commonwealth Home Support Program.
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Ability in delivering acute nursing care in the clients home
  • Valid Drivers Licence and current first aid certification, including CPR.
