Through a collaborative process with educators, families and the centre community Goodstart’s Educational Leader will guide the development and continuous improvement of the educational programs on offer to children within a centre. Goodstart acknowledges the significant role Educational Leaders play within the centre to support and promote teaching and learning.
This role is included as part of the centre’s leadership team, and as a result of this Goodstart has a focus to build the capability and expertise of our Educational Leaders to deliver on practice uplift goals within 2020 and beyond.
Goodstart’s Educational Leaders are provided release time to work across the centre to lead the improvement to educational programs and practice. In addition they receive an allowance in this role and are offered support from the around-centre support teams.
You will establish respectful and reciprocal relationships with families and engage in networks within the centre’s local community.
You’ll help achieve this by
- Having a Diploma or Bachelor of Early Childhood
- Having previous Educational Leader experience (desireable)
- Having A & R Experience (desireable)
- Having the relevant skills to actively motivate, mentor and support the current team and encourage them to embrace new things

If you have previous experience as a Centre Director or Assistant Director or in a centre leadership position, or similar, then we want to meet you!
