The First Collection at Jumeirah Village Circle
The First Collection at Jumeirah Village Circle is an upscale hotel comprised of 491 rooms and centrally located in JVC. Our signature restaurants and bars provide trendy venues including Santé Ria, serving mouth-watering flavours inspired by the vibrant cultures of South America and The Village Bistro, offering a vibrant, family-friendly dining experience with à la carte menu options, international buffets and a terrace and pool deck for al fresco dining. The hotel also offers leisure facilities including an exclusive club lounge, a large outdoor swimming pool, a gymnasium and Rayya wellness centre.

TRYP by Wyndham Dubai

With 650 guest rooms including 24 suites, the four-star TRYP by Wyndham Dubai is currently the largest TRYP by Wyndham hotel in the world! Centrally located in Al Barsha Heights formerly known as TECOM, the hotel will be within easy reach of popular attractions including the Mall of the Emirates, Palm Jumeirah and the Expo 2020 site. Hotel facilities include NEST, one of the world’s first fully integrated co-working spaces within a worldwide branded hotel, which offers both shared and private meeting and event areas, rentable desks, and various networking opportunities. Cluster Human Resources Manager is responsible for providing first-class services to the team players of the hotels and to lead the HR Operations Team to implement the overall company Human Resources strategy

Reporting to Director of Human Resources – Hospitality, you will be leading the Human Resources team split over 3 properties in addition to the Cluster recruitment and housing functions. The Cluster HR Manager is also an integral part of planning and implementing the HR strategy for all upcoming openings.

  • This role will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
  • Lead the development of an integrated HR plan in order to ensure alignment with Corporate HR strategies whilst steering efforts towards key priorities in each property.
  • Lead the ongoing monitoring of HR activities in all properties to ensure that they comply with the defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and budgets.
  • Lead the implementation of the performance management framework in order to build a highly competent workforce and a culture of achievement as well as to consistently recognize, reward and retain top talent within the property.
  • Direct the delivery of employee relations services, including employee grievances and disciplinary action, by investigating cases and recommending conclusions, in order to ensure that all disputes are resolved in a fair and timely manner.
  • Assist in identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and standardization of HR systems, processes and practices, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.
  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the property HR Department by business partnering with the operations team and providing guidance, encouraging teamwork and facilitating related professional work processes in order to achieve high performance standards when dealing with staff issues
  • Maximize productivity and minimize labour cost by analysing trends to maintain HR budgeted margins for labour cost. Deal with Budget related matters, manning forecasts and other finance related processes.
  • Guide the HR and Business Partner with the Operations Team to ensure compliance with policies and procedures along with local laws and regulations
  • Degree level in hospitality management and Human Resources is a necessity.
  • HR related qualifications and certifications will be a strong advantage, i.e. CIPD, SHRM, etc.
  • At least 1 year of previous experience in the same capacity and similar size of the operation.
  • High level of IT understanding.
  • Ability to build great associate experiences.
  • Ability to use Microsoft package efficiently.
  • Solid understanding of international and local labour law.
