Responsibilities:

Monitors all records and files required by Food safety.
 Reports to HSE Manager submits daily spot check and involved in quarterly Emirates Palace Food safety inspection report
Coordinate with all department related Food and HSE matter
 Verifies the temperature control, checking the production and expiry date, when and where necessary on daily basis
Verifies that storage and stock rotation is being carried out which includes all food, beverages and food dispensing in storage areas in outlets, kitchens, bars and the main basement stores, and any other food associated stores.
Monitors production and preparation (cooking, Cooling, Handling, thawing, High risk foods) about following the proper food control on daily basis.
Verifies that the hygiene displays, temperature control, food service, proper transporting all high-risk items is under the appropriate temperature.
Verification and monitoring of personal hygiene and Checking points like hand washing, injuries, no jewelries and/or watch, no eating & drinking, no smoking, ensure protective clothing is worn when and where necessary.
Monitors the cleaning (all equipment, containers and risk point of contamination and hazardous to health)
Any other duties, which may be assigned to you from time to time as directed by your Manager
Assist EHS department in implementation and monitoring of Safety and Environmental aspect.

Skills Requirements:

Food Technologist, Science, Level 3/4 in Food Safety
Minimum of 1 year in HSE department or similar position preferably in the food industry business within the United Arab Emirates.
Knowledge of CCP and its implementation
Proficient in English communication/minutes taking
Arabic is an advantage
Literate in computer program/ Power point / Excel
