  • Review reinsurance statement of accounts and claims documents to ensure governance and compliance
  • Process premium, premium adjustments, commission and claims and checking accuracy of all data
  • Record relevant transaction documentation to accounting system, ensure proper audit trail of the risk data entered into the system
  • Investigate inconsistencies, account discrepancies and related issue and design robust procedures to ensure smooth operations
  • Ensure accounts sent consistent with underwriting guidelines
  • Support data analysis on premium and claims by risk types
  • Provide support and work closely with stakeholder departments on special projects as and when required, including ad hoc data analysis, reports production, UAT testing internal audits
  • Ensure Finance Function comply with Group & Local policies on reinsurance activities


  • Bachelor Degree and professional qualifications, Actuarial knowledge is advantageous but not a must
  • Solid years of working experience in Insurance/Reinsurance industry is a MUST, and preferably in Reinsurance operation function
  • Deep knowledge of life, and accident & health insurance products and Technical Accounting for these lines of business required
  • Experience in IFRS17 would be an advantage
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills and ability to manage different kinds & levels of stakeholders
  • Able to work under pressure and complete the tasks under tight deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel & Access
  • Competent to handle a massive volume of data
  • Fluent in Cantonese & English (written and oral)
