J.P.Morgan - Hong Kong

The Business Analytics & Data Management Team is responsible for the management of regional data, system implementation & reporting documents which represent J.P. Morgan Asset Management's unique brand commitments to clients around the world.
This team works closely with our Technology, Reporting, Product, Investment Specialist, Marketing and Client Advisor partners manage our digital data and maintain accurate reporting.
The team is focused on:
• Establishing & producing consistent business processes for maintaining data and related documentation
• Ensuring a high and consistent standard of quality deliverables to our clients; both internal & external
• Moving the business forward by facilitating varies initiatives related to data digitalization & business process reengineering.
Role Description:
The Business Analytics & Data Management Associate role offers the opportunity to aid the region in the management & delivery of data across both internal & external stakeholders.
  • Consolidation of the book of work from various internal partners including: Marketing, Investment Specialists, Operations, & Client Services into a centralized Center of Excellence for Reporting and Publishing
  • Participate in digital platform implementation
  • Driving efficiencies wherever possible
  • Structure proper documentation on an ongoing basis
  • Continue the momentum in Asia executing against 2021 priorities and focus of Asia in 2022-2023 deliverables
  • Partner with key regional stakeholders, including Investment Desks, Technology, PAG, Marketing, Reporting teams & Operations

  • Excellent writing skills in English; fluent spoken English
  • Intermediate writing and conversational: Mandarin & Cantonese a plus
  • Conversational Japanese skills a plus
  • Sensitivity to different cultures and working styles; ability to navigate seamlessly both across countries within APAC, and with the wider global organization
  • Confidence to work directly with stakeholders at all levels
  • Outstanding accuracy and attention to detail; strong numeracy
  • Ability to work under pressure, and with flexibility, to meet tight deadlines
  • Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook skills (intermediate/advanced)
  • Prior experience with Alteryx, VBA, SQL, Python a plus
  • Experience managing large data sets a plus
  • University degree
