Your Opportunity

The Senior Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for Managing a Team of manual and test-automation engineers and ensuring adherence to quality standards. This individual Monitors and oversees product quality and continued development of test automation framework and conducts a continuous analysis of quality defects and deviations. As a Senior Quality Assurance Manager, you’ll identify deficiencies or gaps in testing activities and develop solutions to ensure adequate and robust quality processes.

Responsibilities

Manage a multicultural team of distributed manual and test-automation engineers embedded within our development teams.
Oversee the continued development of the test automation framework including CI pipelines.
Work with product management and engineering leadership to ensure product quality and alignment in deliveries
Provide guidance on the creation of our test environments and systems.
Guide the engineering teams in how they determine the priorities of their QA/QC efforts.
What you’ll bring

Knowledge in the QA domain on standard methodologies, techniques, and programs.
Leadership. Lead by example, guiding QA engineers as they verify and ensure systems are meeting requirements, mentoring them to dig into (RCA) defects or solve issues.
Deep understanding of Quality Assurance concepts and methodologies and proven track record implementing successful QA programs within fast-growing companies.
Excellent problem-solving, written, and presentation communication skills.
The potential to solve sophisticated problems in the face of time pressure and information/resource constraints.
Ability to manage changing business needs; excellent time management skills required.
Have strong organizational skills
Be able to manage the complexity of replication testing across different Operating Systems and DBMS venders and versions, while still being flexible/agile to adjust to quickly changing priorities
Requirements

10+ years of experience in software QA in addition to experience managing teams.
Of which at least 3+ years of people management experience
Hands-on experience with REST API, functional, compatibility, acceptance/smoke testing, ad-hoc/exploratory, database, regression, and cross-platform testing.
Previous experience with python/perl scripting and the Phytest framework
Experience using issue tracking systems and test case management tools.
Solid experience with a couple of relational, big data and nosql database systems.
Experience with using docker and virtualization technologies
Bonus: Experience with Saas services and pipelines
