Primary Objectives of the position:

  • Coordination, design, production and review of corporate planning documents and provide guidance to the organisation in corporate planning issues.
  • Plan, scope and deliver a range of individual service reviews and projects in line with key corporate and service improvement plan objectives, to continually improve service efficiency, outcomes, delivery and performance.

To be successful in this role you must have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in business, marketing or related discipline or demonstrated understanding and experience working within Local Government legislative frameworks and requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience in producing and monitoring strategic, operation and business plans and risk assessment.
  • Knowledge and experience on developing and implementing change processes (including customer feedback and service delivery processes) to achieve excellence in service quality performance.
  • Strong capacity for strategic thinking along with highly developed analytical, problem solving, report writing and relationship building skills.
  • Experience of reviewing services and advising on options to improve performance and effectiveness.
  • Experience of process mapping, process reengineering and process improvement.
