Overview

With a rapidly growing platform and an investment in growth in the region, this foreign corporate bank is seeking to hire a Credit Analyst, Corporate Banking to join the Credit Analysis Department anto provide credit management and credit analysis support for frontline corporate banking business to achieve its business target and comply with regulatory requirements.

Role Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for the credit analysis of corporate bank clients, including the credit application write up, rating application, and continuous monitoring of credit performance of the assigned corporate customers.
  • Support Relationship Managers and Business Units on the preparation of credit application, rating application, financial analysis, cash flow modelling, and to answer subsequent enquiries from Credit Approval department;
  • Handle credit related matters including review of latest financials of obligors upon receipt of financial statements, long term loan review, compliance of credit approval conditions with bank policy and instructions;
  • Oversee documentation matters of existing and new transaction after credit approval;
  • Continuously review the existing credit commitments to identify potential credit problems and to recommend appropriate action when needed;

Requirements

  • 2-5 years experience in credit analysis and credit management for reputable corporate banks including financial analysis and cash flow projection for corporate customers
  • Experience in covering different types of corporate customers including local mid-cap corporates, FI/non-bank FI and blue chip corporates is advantageous;
  • Good writing and communication/ presentation/excel and powerpoint skills in english;
  • Due to target customer segment, proficiency in spoken English and Cantonese is a must.
