The Director of Sales leads and manages the hotel sales activities with a strong drive on building long-term and value-based guests relations that would achieve the sales objectives. S/he recommends growth opportunities, monitors progress, and ensures the hotel is competitively positioned within the local market.
Along with the Executive Committee, s/he drives the business needs and increases existing business through promotional efforts and sales channels. S/he also develops and mentors a high-performing sales team.
The Director of Sales must be proactive, organized, and self-driven. S/he must have strong leadership skills, excellent analytical capabilities, and outstanding proven sales performance. S/he must be a role model and leads the team with commitment. S/he must also be attentive to guests and colleagues needs.
S/he is required to have a minimum of 2 years work experience in the same capacity (preferably in a luxury hotel). She must be a diploma/degree holder in hospitality management with excellent command in English (Arabic language would be an added value). Qatar market knowledge and experience is an added advantage.
