VicForests is a Victorian State-owned business responsible for the sustainable harvest, regeneration and commercial sale of timber from Victoria's public forests on behalf of the Victorian Government. They now seek to engage a Human Resources Manager for a period of 12 months.
As the successful candidate you will deliver the strategic HR objectives and change management processes as well as managing the development, review and analysis of policies, procedures and practices. Leading a small team you will ensure the coordinated delivery of HR services to all employees that are based throughout Victoria.
To be successful you will be able to demonstrate a thorough track record of delivering outstanding results across employee relations, performance management, recruitment and selection and training and development. Additionally you will have an in-depth understanding of industrial relations, negotiation of EBA's and experience of negotiating with relevant Trade Unions. As a result you will be able to demonstrate how you have worked in a complex operating environment and worked with a range of internal and external stakeholders to achieve organisational objectives.
This role will suit an individual who is able to work with the leadership team to develop and implement a change management process and HR strategy. The team is small and nimble therefore it is expected that you will be flexible and also be hands on and work on day to day HR activities when needed.
Applications are welcome from experience HR professionals and the successful candidate can be appointed on either a full time or part time basis. VicForests encourages flexible work arrangements, and are happy to engage those that require flexibility around work hours should it be required.
