Overview of Job

As the Account Executive you will be part of a passionate team in driving integrated solutions for our clients.  You will be accountable for driving efficiency and accuracy in the planning and implementation for approved media campaigns. 

Reporting of the role

This role reports to the Account Manager

Measures of success –

In three months:

  • Familiar with all relevant media and finance systems/processes
  • Implementation of media plans across both traditional and digital channels
  • Understood the client’s processes and tools and be assisting with key monthly and quarterly administration tasks

In six months:

  • Demonstrate understanding of the media landscape and business challenges and begin to contribute ideas on how to improve on current situation
  • Be the person whom the client goes to for day-to-day activities
  • Able to propose ideas and activities to answer identified challenges

In 12 months:

  • Assist in leading projects/new campaigns and/or channels (identify need, formulate idea into plan, set the scope and present to the Director)
  • Ability to develop media recommendations with strong POV
  • Build trusted relationships with clients and media partners

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Identify and implement local media initiatives
  • Understand the client’s market position to achieve optimal negotiation for clients
  • Ensure regular reporting is delivered on time and accurately
  • Accountable for accurate and timely billing on a monthly basis
  • Ensure that campaigns are tracked and measured based on agreed KPIs and media efficiencies
  • Develop and build relationships with clients, acting as first point of contact on account requirements
  • Develop strong working relationship with key agency and media partners. This will include acting as the first point of contact for operational issues
  • Combine creative thinking with factual analysis to develop appropriate recommendation
  • Keep current on media trends

What you will need:

  • Degree in any discipline, major in Communications, Marketing information management, business, mathematics
  • Familiar in media planning and buying across all platforms with applied knowledge of 3rd party ad-serving, website and tracking and associated technologies a must, especially programmatic would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of media planning tools and concepts
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Attention to detail
  • Great knowledge of excel and PowerPoint
  • Commercial flair and good communication skills
  • Willingness to think outside of the box and challenge conventional thinking
  • Client service and team spirit attitude
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
